Hi! I’m Tanno

I (they/them) have been a Heathen for a few years now, and have been interested in general paganism for much longer. I have a B.A. in French and a B.A. in Philosophy, and I am studying philosophy in a Master's program, and eventually on to a PhD. While I have a huge interest in Applied Ethics, Metaethics, and Metaphysics, my primary area of study is in Aesthetics, the Philosophy of Art.

As a Queer Heathen, I am all for inclusivity, as well as modernizing religious practices, and I stand against all forms of hate and bigotry. I think the key to not only helping our world, but also to helping ourselves and each other, is in our spirit, and I think there is a tremendous intersection between philosophy, art, and religion that I would love to explore.

I am new to blogging, so bear with me as I figure out the in's and out's of this, so to speak. In this blog, I am going to dive into interesting topics that pertain to Heathenry in general, as well as to my individual practice, from Reconstructionism, Syncreticism, Metaphysics, Theology, to Art, Science, Poetry, and everything in between.
